This resonated completely with me. Especially the part about solitude. I have very deliberately trimmed my commitments for November because I can hear my soul calling for solitude, for days to simply wander and dream. Thanks so much for this, Victoria. It feels good to have my own inner callings reaffirmed by you and your gifts.

You're welcome Lori. Thanks for reading and commenting. I'm glad that the message about solitude resonated. One of the things I love most about the Akashic Records is the validation that it offers about our inner knowing. Enjoy your wandering and dreaming!

So interesting that integrity came through as a theme. Yesterday, I read a story online where someone put a table outside their house for free, and it sat for days--no one took it. So they tried an experiment and changed the sign to, "Table: $50." It was taken within an hour.

In the comments on that post, there were lots of similar stories of people putting these signs out with a fake price because they know it will make it more likely someone will take the thing they just want to be rid of. I found it pretty disheartening that it's so common now for people to violate the honor system. I think as a nation we have largely lost our sense of integrity.

Someone else said that they did something similar as a social experiment. They put out a table they intended to give away for free, and they put a sign on it saying, "$10. Put the money in the envelope taped to the front door." They went out and came back, and the table was gone, and the $10 was in the envelope. It had been taken by their neighbor, who later told them the table was just what he needed. The person brought him his $10 back, explaining the experiment, but the neighbor refused to take it.

The neighbor explained, "When I saw your table and sign, my friend who was with me said I should just take it and not leave the money. I told him my integrity is worth more than $10."

I like your reminder that integrity means wholeness. I often define integrity as doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. I think there are more and more people who think that if you get away with something, it's somehow not wrong. I often say, "There's no such thing as 'getting away with it.'" I believe in karma, and when we do the wrong thing, we are making our path harder because we'll need to work that karma off at some point in this lifetime or one to come. The more we fail to act in integrity, the longer we'll keep being presented opportunities to do so.

Thanks for your comment, Gillian. I was happy when integrity came through for this month because the reminder is good for all of us. Being in integrity to me means being aligned with the highest good for all as much as possible. The indigenous cultures understood that if they took something from nature, they needed to make an offering of thanks and gratitude.

We receive exactly what we put out, and when someone takes something from us, life will replace it in some way, and the person who stole will lose something of equal or greater value. We are part of the whole and are not separate, therefore our actions either help or harm us via what we do to and for others. And there's no getting around that and no hiding the fact that we are part of a collective consciousness being expressed through individual avatars. Integrity is a sign of spiritual maturity.
